From the recording A History of Blues - Discs 1 - 4
Composed in 1991. One of the more interesting rhythm patterns. I liked it from the moment I wrote. It is fairly complicated but it makes such sense once you learn it. It just stays in one place on the guitar neck. I still enjoy it to this day. Part of the 820 Sessions.
Lyrics
She got a great big top
a skinny little middle
the hips on the girl
they sure like to wiggle
She’s alright
She’s alright, she’s alright
She got long, long legs
people singing ’bout
a curvy shape
people talking ’bout
She’s all right
She’s alright, she’s alright
She got eyes like diamonds
teeth like pearls
when she kiss me slow
my heart goes a-whirl
She's alright,
she's alright, she's alright
When the bars close down
and it’s time to go home
sorry boys, I got to go
I can’t stay for one more
I ain’t got the time
My baby’s callin’
She got lovin’ on her mind
She’s all right
She’s alright, she’s alright
She’s alright, she’s alright
She’s alright, she’s alright
